19 plumbing words for Scrabble Day

On this day in 1899, Alfred M. Butts was born.

Butts invented Scrabble, the addictive game of knowledge, strategy and chance, which is one of the world’s best selling board games of all time.

The first players were Mr. Butts and his wife, who was actually better at the game than her inventor spouse, once scoring 234 points for ‘quixotic’. Mr. Butts admitted “she beat me at my own game”1, literally.

In honour of Alfred M. Butts, the 13th of April is marked as Scrabble Day, so we’ve put together a list of plumbing words you can play during your next game. Use them across those Triple Word squares and you could be winning.
