Cleansing Smoothie Recipe
Giving the long established tradition of committing to a diet in the New Year and abandoning mid – month, we thought we’d throw in this recipe for a post festivities cleansing smoothie that we found and tried, that can get you started with your new commitment to healthy living.
The main ingredients: Coconuts, bananas and aloe vera juice contain lots of healthy vitamins and minerals, including potassium in both the bananas and coconut water, as well as the anti inflammatory properties of the aloe vera juice. The recipe also includes avocados, which will keep blood sugars balanced.
They’re fairly easy to find and the recipe is super simple to follow.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup ice
1/2 frozen banana
1/2 avocado
1/3 cup coconut water
1/3 cup aloe vera juice
Method:
Simply add all the ingredients to a blender and blend until it’s creamy.
You’ll be well on your way to living healthier this year, even if you don’t stick to a diet!
